SteadyStudy
A wearable health and study support device. Received a jury special award.

SteadyStudy is a wearable ecosystem designed to proactively address stress, loss of focus, and motivation challenges that middle and high school students face during study sessions through biometric data.
The system consists of three layers: an ESP32-based wristband continuously monitors the user's stress level in the background via HRV and GSR sensors; when a personalized threshold is exceeded, haptic feedback is triggered and the system automatically intervenes; the mobile app offers intervention options such as breathing exercises, lofi music, or micro-tasks.
Its key distinction from existing solutions is that while competitors wait for the user to take action, SteadyStudy intervenes automatically when the stress threshold is crossed. The system also includes gamification layers such as XP rewards, streak series, and mascot progression to build long-term usage habits.
The app supports iOS, Android, and desktop platforms, and offers a parent interface, corporate licensing, and a hardware-free lite mode. The project was presented by a 3-person team at the Boardoza Sense-Tech Challenge and received the jury special award.
